Transition Services are available to students on an IEP or 504 Plan. Services may be offered in high school and/or beyond high school. Some of these services include the following:
Pre-Employment Transition Services:
Work Readiness Training
Self Advocacy Training
On the Job Training
Vocational Evaluation and Planning
Career Counseling and Guidance
Job Coaching
Job Placement
Training and Education After High School
Job Site Assessment and Accommodations
Supported and Customized Employment
Assistive Technology and Devices
Medical and Psychological Assessment
Time-limited Medical and/or Psychological Treatment
To access these services you will need to fill out a referral form. Please turn in the referral form to your IEP Case Manager. If your student has a 504, please turn the form into your guidance counselor. Access the referral forms here: Vocational Rehabilitation Referral Form

Virtual Work Readiness Training
Sign up now for the 2021 SCPS Fall Pre-Employment Transition Opportunities. Seminole County Public Schools is a provider for Vocational Rehabilitation. What does this mean for you? Your student can participate in SCPS Pre-Employment Transition Opportunities.
We are offering after school virtual courses and work based work learning experiences this fall for our SCPS students. Students must be between the ages of 14-21, be currently enrolled in school, have an active IEP or 504, and are a client of VR/Pre-ETS.
Students can participate in after school virtual Work Readiness Training, virtual Self Advocacy 1 Training, and/or multiple Work Based Learning Experiences. Please see the flyers attached for more detailed information.
